Danny Clay was discovered by Steve Harvey on the Steve Harvey Morning Show in 2007 when he sung a Tribute to Luther Vandross. As a result of the overwhelming response of Steve’s radio listeners, Danny was invited to perform a show with Steve in Newark N.J. at the N.J.P.A.C. Opening to a Sold Out audience with an incredible responsible from all in attendance, Steve then offered Danny to be the opening act for his entire remaining tour. This blessing lasted until Steve Harvey’s finale show in Las Vegas in 2012. When one door closed another door opened as Iconic playwright and movie director Tyler Perry in December 2009 and was invited to be a cast member of the hit national stage play Medea’s Big happy Family sharing the stage with Tyler Perry as well as other as Cheryl Pepsii Riley, Cassie Davis, Palmer Williams and Chandra Cruelly Young.

In addition to performing the Luther Vandross Tributes nationally, Danny Clay has now embarked on releasing his own single song entitled “Magnificent Lady”. Danny Clay has continued to travel the world performing both his tribute and his original show to thousands of fans around the world. Danny is gearing up for round two after the COVID-19 Epidemic when the concert stages open back up to bring the gift of love and music back to his fans. Danny Clay is an actor and singer discovered by both Steve Harvey and Tyler Perry.
